3 more months
Ah man, the time is flying. In less than 3 months we’re going to have another little person in the house. I am anxious, nervous, and worried at the same time. How in the heck are we going to manage everything? It’s tough as it is now. Two toddlers, two dogs, small house, and bills up the ying yang.
You may say, ‘where there’s a will, there’s a way’, but right now I just don’t see it. The future is still uncertain and this is causing a lot of stress. It took us 3 years to finally get a good schedule going with Justice and Jasmine. It’s not perfect, but it works. I don’t know how we’re going to do it with a third child.
Our routine is going to be turned upside down for awhile. Right now it takes about 1/2 hour or more to just get out of the house to run errands. Gotta make sure the kids are fed and clothed before thinking about going anywhere. Depending on where we go and for how long, I have to shower, shave, and prepare their to-go food. Jasmine now takes forever because she has to choose the right outfit. Justice is less picky.
The house is almost ready for the newborn, but not quiet. We don’t want to jinx anything by doing any major changes to the house until the baby arrives. We don’t have a name for her yet. We probably won’t decide until probably the week of.
In about 3 more months we’ll be back to sleepless nights, baby cries, and another diaper to change. Haha just when we thought we were going to be completely out of diapers, wrong! God said, ‘not yet’. I never understood it when people said get all the sleep you can get beforehand. For me, once I have to catch up on sleep for even one day, I am already spent.
My hope is that Justice and Jasmine will be more helpful around the house and with the baby. They have less than 3 months to grow up lol!
